Below you will find a recorded Sunday service that is instructional in nature, as there are breaks amidst worship to explain why we worship in the way that we do. Directly below the video there is a button you can click if you'd like to download a copy of the bulletin for this service. The accompanying slides for the video are just a bit further down the page.
In worship you will see all sorts of signs and symbols to engage your mind, body and soul. We typically stand to sing and pray, sit to listen, and you may encounter some who cross themselves, bow, or find other ways to encounter the Lord in worship. As you observe these, please feel free to ask! None are expected and all are intended to draw one nearer to the Lord while in worship. The primary goal is for you to be wholly present to the Lord each time you come before Him!
We have also Discovery Days quarterly to answer more questions in depth and welcome an email at office@stbarnabas.us if you’d like to participate in a Discovery Day!
The following slides accompany the video, and provide an overview of why we worship as we do.
